Gradual Approach for the Win!

This client utilized our Nutrition Kickstart program to gradually develop the better eating habits. She got her baseline data on file the beginning of June and started the program June 10th.

Over the past 13 weeks:

  • She lost 13 lbs
  • Down 2.3% body fat – actually lost 8.6 lbs of body fat. We did see a slight drop in muscle mass, which can happen and we try to minimize, but starting to see that climb back up
  • Visceral fat (the fat surrounding organs and generally abdominal fat) is down 2 points from 16 to 14 (goal is to be at 10 or below).

Those are just the numbers. Feedback from her:

  • happy with the gradual approach.
  • was still able to enjoy a weekend outing with her husband
  • learned a lot through the process
  • starting to experience toning and shape in the areas she has been working to improve

This approach, along with a fitness program personally designed for her, has yielded better results than a low-weight, high rep program partnered with shakes ; )
