Meal Prep Tip!

Every little bit helps

When it comes to meal prep, a lot of folks focus on having to put together a whole meal at the time of preparation.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

Even prepping just one element of your meal in advance can save you A LOT of time during the week.

I used my time one Sunday a couple weeks ago to roast up some potatoes and cook some rice.  Maybe the prep work of cutting the potatoes and putting the rice into the cooker collectively took 15 minutes, then the oven and the rice cooker did the rest of the work.

Consider how much time that would take me nightly to prepare those same ingredients.  15 minutes of prep work  plus 45 minutes of cooking time ONE time on Sunday saved me from doing that every night this week.

I’d like to encourage you to consider this perspective:  the little bit of time you spend doing this in advance will save you WAY more time later in the week.
