October means we’re in the home stretch of the year. It can be one of the most difficult times of the year to remain consistent with your fitness and nutrition.
From Halloween candy to holiday parties, it’s an 8-week sprint to the New Year!
We are scheduling our final member check-ins for the year in October. It’s a free 15 minutes to sit down with a coach and put together a plan for the rest of the year and start of the next one. On the one hand, we want to help make sure all our hard work over the previous months and/years doesn’t backslide during this time of year. In addition, it helps us plan best for the next 90 days.
We are here to celebrate your successes and help you through your struggles.
We love what the first 10 are celebrating as some of their proudest accomplishments thus far:
- “noticing my strength with everyday activities”
- “consistency, pushing myself better”
- “feeling strong”
- “committed and consistent,” “hitting good lifting numbers, first rope climb, running improved”
- “just coming here,” (improving her daily routine
- “getting strength up, being faster on the ice, making stronger shots on the ice” (one of your teen hockey players!)
- “increasing my running”
- “getting more stronger”
- “still enjoys coming” and “proud of using heavier weights”
- “be consistent and showing up for myself”
We asked each of them what they would like to accomplish in the next 90 days:
- “be more consistent and mindful of nutrition”
- “stay on track and have accountability” so she can look back and see how far she has come
- “lose 15 pounds” and help her kids eat better
- “be able to run 1 mile without walking” and have a “flatter stomach”
- “increase bench press strength and upper body strength” and do “more cardio”
- “lose 20 pounds”
- “daily in nutrition and lose 10 pounds”
- “bigger biceps”
- “10,000 steps daily”
- “feel confident with small weekly goals to stay on track and stay accountable with nutrition”
