Train for a Spartan Race with Us!

I read/saw something cool over the weekend…and it’s so true.

Here it is:

“I’m convinced that the fastest way to improve your entire life is to sign up for a physical side quest. A race. A competition. Whatever. Your day becomes more structured with the training. You sleep deeper because you’re tired. You eat cleaner. You look better. Everything falls into alignment.”

Here is my invitation to you: train for the Spartan Stadion event in Philadelphia being held August 29th at Citizen’s Bank Park. You can check out the race here.

Before you say, “there is no way I can do this,” consider this–every weekend at Spartan Races nationwide and worldwide, people who have way more limitations than you are getting through these races. There are people who are missing limbs, are blind, new to exercise, overweight, 70+ years old…just to name a few…getting through and completing these races. They get through with help from others.

And we will be there to help you.

Coach Julie and I will be doing the race, along with others. You will not be doing this alone. We are here to help one another.

No pressure for time. It’s about taking it one obstacle at a time, doing something that is challenging, and leaving the day feeling proud.

End your summer having accomplished something.

If you can walk for an hour or two, do steps, carry stuff, pick up stuff, get down on the ground and get back up, you can do this. Don’t overcomplicate it.

I will program one Spartan training session per week. One can come do that during our small group personal training hours which are: Monday through Friday, 6am-10:30am, Mondays and Wednesdays, 3-6:30p, and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 3-6:00pm, and Saturdays 8a-10a. If you want to train outside of that time, you are welcome to schedule a personal training session. We can incorporate this workout into the program of our current clients or non-clients can drop in to do the workout for $25.

One last thing…imagination is a powerful thing. Instead of imagining all of the ways in which it could go wrong, imagine all of the ways in which it could go right!

Let’s goooooo!!

Make it a great day : )

Sincerely,

Your friend in wellness & fitness,

Coach Candice

P.S. Don’t sign up just yet – I have an email from Spartan that potentially offers a discount code for getting a group to sign up. Hang tight! I’ll keep you posted ; )
