The difference a year can make

Christine C one year comment

What has it meant for Christine to commit to herself for one year?

  • 17.7 overall pounds lost
  • 22.3 pounds of body fat lost
  • 3.1 pounds of muscle gained
  • happy with achieving more of the toned look she desires
  • found a fitness regimen that she enjoys and looks forward to and supports her goals

She often works out four days per week.  Sometimes life gets a bit crazy and it’s more like three.  When her schedule smoothes out a bit, she often bumps up to five days per week.

She has enjoyed some vacations, managed through sick households, and a move to a new home during that time.

She fits in her walks, she tracks more often than not, and she meal preps more often than not.

Nothing fancy, nothing too Instagram reel worthy.  All just habits and practices that are simple, effective, and implemented consistently.

Through regular communication with her coach, her program has adapted to her and helped her navigate life’s challenges.  At times, it has also been about encouragement when it feels like you are trying to find your way back after a small bumpy period.

All of this was accomplished through remote coaching as she regularly travels between two states and her primary workout space is Planet Fitness.

We love working with our in-person people and appreciate the opportunity to similarly support our remote clients.

In closing, a phrase from my time as an Addictions Counselor comes to mind…”it works if you work it, work it your worth it.”  That is in reference to a mantra within Alcoholics Anonymous to support people in accomplishing long-term sobriety.  Note, it doesn’t say “work it for the next 6 weeks,” or “fast track your results.”  It’s about the lifelong journey of being your best self and developing the skills to navigate life’s challenges.

The hardest, simplest thing you have to do, is make that initial appointment.  It’s often said, “the heaviest weight in the gym is the front door.”  Our consultation, our No Sweat Intro, is FREE.  You can book that directly by clicking the button below, or just call Coach Candice at 570.704.6794.
