Our strategy to help you succeed:  focus on sustainability

Fitness and improving your health is a journey.  You live in your body for a lifetime…not just the next 6 weeks.

We work on helping you develop habits that you can use for the long-term.

Our Nutrition Kickstart program breaks down key nutritional habits to help you build success at what matters and allows for you to increasingly get better at certain skills.

We don’t ask you to be “perfect” or eliminate things that bring you joy.  You won’t see us cutting out carbs!  We also will never advise you to eat 1200 calories or less a day.

With fitness, we encourage many of our people to start off with 2-3 days per week. The vast majority of our clients workout three days per week and experience great results.  If you want to add more at a future time, that is wonderful and we will be happy to do that.  For some, they may have at one time worked out 4-5 days per week, but when perhaps responsibilities shifted at work or other activities in life were increased, they dialed it back to 3-4…and still made progress.

We likely won’t ever suggest you start off with 5+ days per week from the start, especially when you haven’t been working out at all.

In addition, if trying to workout 5+ days per week doesn’t fit with your responsibilities outside of the gym and would only become an additional stressor to try to make all of those days, why would we suggest that to begin with?!

We’re about using the time you have available wisely.  The time spent pursuing fitness should add to your life…not take away from it.

In summary, we adapt to you.  We don’t expect you to adapt to us.

These program elements help you be successful in the long-term because they are sustainable.  We won’t shame you for not being able to do more than you realistically can do.

If all of this means we lose some potential clients because they are seeking out the next “quick fix,” then so be it.

We want to see people who experience long-term change.  We want to see folks lose 10 pounds that they keep off forever…not just lose 10 pounds in the next 4 weeks only to gain back 15 and be stuck in that cycle forever and ever.

Tomorrow, we’ll share one of our client’s stories where they embraced the concept of “time” and the results it has yielded her.

Happy Wednesday!

Make it a great day,

Coach Candice
