Train for your first 5K!

5K Program

Earlier in the week, I shared with you why we love a 5K for so many people.  In case you missed it, you can check it out here:

Many folks within our gym will be training for Bernie’s Run which takes place July 4th in Downtown Wilkes-Barre. 

You are welcome to join us or use this program to train for a different race of your choosing. For example, we have someone training for their first 5K that will likely be while they are on their vacation in the Outer Banks.  

The features of our program:

  • 3 days per week of programmed running and walking that can be done whenever and wherever it fits into your schedule. 
  • If you cannot run, that is 100% OK!  You can focus on walking briskly within those same intervals. 
  • 1 day of strength training that can be done with us in the gym under Coach supervision or can be done on your own anywhere you have access to dumbbells.  
  • 8 weeks of progression to help you be ready for race day!
  • Coaching support, feedback, and guidance along the way to help you.
