Keep it Simple, Silly ; )

I met with some wonderful new clients yesterday.

We talked about simplicity.

I emphasized, if an intervention or strategy is “boring” or “uncomplicated,” it’s likely one of the most beneficial things you can do.

Those who try to complicate things for you are likely trying to sell you something.

The tactics that help you improve your health:  eating more minimally processed food, eating more fruits and vegetables, hydrating better, walking more, etc., are all “free” for you to implement on your own.

I do recognize that “simple” does not mean easy.  Reality being, “if you want something to be different, you gotta do something different.”  Too often, we try to hang onto old habits while expecting different results.

In my message yesterday, I talked about accountability.  I had mentioned, “True accountability is about partnership and problem-solving.”

It’s about taking your hand and walking with you, or shining a flashlight on other solutions.  At the end of the day though, it all requires you to take action.  Myself or any of the coaches can’t do the work for you.

It isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it.

In our upcoming Fall Healthy Habits Challenge, we focus on four simple things:  hydration, increasing activity, increasing your protein intake, and improving your fruit and vegetable consumption.

We’ll help you get in structured practice with building the basic habits. Best part yet, you’ll have a Coach to help see you through it and help you along the way.

Our Fall Challenge will kick off Monday, October 27th and end Sunday, November 23rd. It’s a great opportunity to focus on the simple things while having the accountability and support of a coach.

Tomorrow, I’ll share some final additional details with you.

In the meantime, enjoy a glass of water and go for a walk : )

Make it a great day!

Your friend in wellness and fitness,

Coach Candice
