Tools vs Solutions

tools

Yesterday I shared some of the challenges that come along with GLP-1s that many folks may experience or weren’t aware existed.

From time-to-time, people have asked me my thoughts on medications or surgeries and no, I am not 100% against them. They can be suitable for folks in various situations. Perhaps, to sum it up, I view them more as “tools” for some people. On the other hand, I don’t believe they should be viewed as a full solution.

Yesterday, in our free, private Facebook group (you can join that here), I shared some insights and reflections from a mindset seminar that I attended in Tennessee a few weeks back. One note I elaborated on was a line from a book the presenter referenced which was “progress requires unlearning.” He also mentioned how we have to ditch old habits and dwelling on old results to truly take our personal selves to the next level.

Tools don’t quite help you do that. Coaching does.

Coaching in a supportive, encouraging atmosphere helps people foster and grow positive health habits.

Coaching and education helps people learn and develop new ways of thinking around nutrition and lifting.

Having human support that goes beyond the numbers assigned to you by an app helps you better navigate challenges that will inevitably arise.

We are not just a gym. If you are looking for “just a gym,” I can refer you to some decent ones.

We are a coaching service. For the heck of it, I Googled, “what is coaching,” and the AI-summarized response I got was “Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused partnership designed to maximize personal or professional potential by accelerating goal achievement and performance.”

That is what we do. We learn more about you, collaborate together on a plan that incorporates your lifestyle and schedule, and we focus on what matters most to accelerate you accomplishing your goal.

Not to mention, it extends beyond just our coaching staff. You can find that in our small group personal training clients as well. They too have goals of self-improvement and are just as excited to see you win.

Don’t take it from me though. Take it from the words of our clients, and I’ll share some of those tomorrow : )

Until then, make it a great day!

Sincerely,

Your friend in wellness and fitness,

Coach Candice
