The Truth about Getting Older

You’ve been lied to…

“They” tell you it’s all downhill once you’re 40, 50, etc.

On the other hand, the folks feeling vibrant say “age is just a number.”

What is 40 supposed to feel like?

What is 50 supposed to feel like

I’m 44 and feeling significantly better than I did at 34.

The difference:  my habits.

  • I exchanged being sedentary for being active.
  • I upgraded the majority of my eating habits (I say the majority because I am not perfect).
  • I made my health my priority.

We will all age…we have no control over that.

However, we do have control over HOW we age.

I plan to age well and to continue to be the strongest, fittest version of myself…whatever that looks like each year.

What’s not part of my plan?  Sitting on the sidelines watching life go by because I couldn’t commit some time to be healthier and move active.  We weren’t meant to enjoy life from the couch.

The best part…it’s never too late to start.  I have some amazing clients becoming quite fit at 50, 60, and even 70+.

Personally, I didn’t make the change for myself till I was 34.

Tough love moment:  you can have excuses or you can have results, but you can’t have both.

When I got rid of my excuses, that is when I really experienced a turnaround.

You can do it.  I believe in you.
