Monday Motivation

We love getting these messages from our Clients!

The Monday Motivation message you didn’t know you needed (or maybe you do).

One of our clients works with a Registered Dietitian for her nutrition while working out with us 3 days per week.

The other day, she had a check-in, and afterwards, she sent us this message: “I just left Brooke. My muscle mass is up 2 pounds and my body fat percentage is down 2 percent!”

No doubt, we were so happy for her!

She shows up diligently and consistently. If she can’t make it to the gym one day, she adjusts and comes on a different day. She stays focused and is in-and-out in under an hour.

I followed up with asking her, “If you had to give advice to someone, what would you say?” I asked her, “What would you say your top 3 nutritional/lifestyle habits are that you do regularly?”

She said, “Prioritize protein! Plan ahead whenever possible, it doesn’t need to be complicated. Move your body every day.”

Take note, the successful people aren’t highlighting some “hack” or “shortcut.” They are devoting their time and effort to the basics and to the simple things.

My little tip for you today…stop listening to the folks that are on an endless road of “diet plans” or “supplements of the month” only to be never getting off the roller coaster and have nothing to show for whatever drink they drank that month.

Listen to the folks making steady forward progress. Perhaps the steps they are taking aren’t “brag worthy” or “social media worthy,” but they work.

Lastly, consider this. Success isn’t always loud. It’s found in the quiet consistency of what most folks consider to be “boring.”

In closing, it’s Monday. An opportunity for a fresh start. Bonus: many people have today off.

1) Prioritize Protein. I have “Protein Checklist.” If you’d like it, message me with the word “PROTEIN” and I’ll send it over to you.

2) Plan ahead. Use today to do SOMETHING that will set you up for success for the upcoming week.

3) Move your body every day. Go for a walk. Don’t wanna walk in the rain? Join a gym so that you can. Work to eliminate your most frequent excuses.

I’d love to talk about you on a future Monday.

But first, you gotta get after it.

Let’s go!
