Yesterday, as I asked you to Be a Rebel. If you missed it, you can check it out here.
Rebels kick “Skinny-Tok” culture to the curb and prioritize being strong. In doing so, they are helping to ward off osteoporosis and the nursing home for a very long time.
Rebels kick the multiple prescription lifestyle to the curb and use those extra funds however they please.
Rebels kick acceptance of the “Dad-bod” where being out of shape is normalized and develop a capable, fit body that is still chasing the grandkids in their 70’s and 80’s.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Our society today has made the abnormal, normal.
So much so, that “healthy initiatives” such as eating well and strength training are considered diet and exercise.
Here’s the thing.
It’s not normal to be skinny and weak and emaciated in appearance.
It’s not normal to have so many prescriptions that you need a basket for them on your kitchen table.
It’s not normal to be overweight and unable to run, jump, lift, and play.
Here’s how Rebels buck the status quo:
- Rebels, they train and fuel their bodies to meet the demands of life
- Rebels care about what they put into their body.
- Rebels believe that age is just a number and the more they move and tend to their body, the more they get out of life.
- Rebels don’t enjoy life from the sidelines…they are in it.
To escape the crowd…to become a Rebel, it takes one small action. Then another. Then another.
I know I mentioned escaping the grasps of big-pharma, but I do have a question for you:
Red pill or the blue pill?
I don’t care how old you are.
There is still time.
You can do it. I believe in you.
Sincerely,
Your friend in wellness and fitness,
Coach Candice
